Atlanta Back to School Bash

Until I became the mother of a school aged child, I didn’t realize how big of a celebration that Back to School is. It’s become a celebration of the end of summer. Here’s a look at the upcoming 2016 Atlanta Back to School Bash with a variety of options to shop and drop off events.

Olivia’s Dollhouse Tea Room Parents Night Out Event

Date & Time: Friday, August 12th from 6-9 p.m.

Event: Drop-off events for ages 4+ includes games, songs, face painting, character appearances, food/drink. $35 per child/first sibling; $25 additional siblings

Parents Night Out August 2016

 

Annual Back to School Bash

Date & Time: Saturday, August 6th from 3-6 p.m.

Event: This free event supports grandparents raising school aged children. Register online.

Shop Happy Mango’s Back to School Night Block Party

Date & Time: Saturday, August 6th at 5 p.m.

Event: A Back to School block party with area Kirkwood community partners. Law enforcement officers and firefighters will greet children. Stop by for food specials,  back to school supply specials and biscuits and brews!

Kandi Cares Back to School Bash

Date & Time: Saturday, August 6th at 2 p.m.

Event: Singer and TV reality star Kandi Burruss is hosting a Back to School bash with Macy’s which includes a meet and greet with music sensations. Register for free online.
