My Clutter-Free Christmas Wish

I started getting pitches and requests to include products in a 2015 Holiday Gift Guide – back in July! My mind was hardly focused on creating content for the holidays. Don’t get me wrong. It’s a blessing to get free products sent to our home for the holidays, but I just wasn’t feeling it. So you won’t find a huge lift of gift ideas of giveaways here. I had enough time to review our shopping experience for gifts at the Five Below store, as well as recommend a Holiday Home Cleaning from WellKept in Atlanta. I’m also working on a relaxation idea for the The Bliss Spa facial review in Downtown Atlanta. My only wish is for a clutter-free Christmas.

I just can’t find any room in my life for AND MORE STUFF – at the moment. So I decided to step back and figure out if there was anything that I needed.

As I looked around my bedroom,  our living room and A.J.’s bedroom –  I found that are our home is filled to the brim WITH STUFF. I don’t want any more stuff in here until I figure out a way to organize, donate and re-sell the stuff that I already have. Here’s how to “Control Holiday Spending without feeling like a Scrooge.”

Control Holiday Spending
There’s only one thing I wanted for Christmas, but I’m not going to mention the brand of the name because I actually found a much cheaper, yet version of it. I just could NOT justify the expense of spending $200 on this skin care item. Maybe I’ll get it for my birthday or down the road. I even participated in a Twitter party where this skin care item was the prize. I didn’t win. So I took that as a sign!
See, there’s been a basket full of MY CLEAN LAUNDRY sitting at the foot of my bed for months now. I wear a few pieces. Wash some. But can’t find space to put it all away. That – is a sign.

Clutter-Free Christmas

I feel like my family has been blessed with the opportunity to travel to go on a Carnival Cruise to the Western Caribbean right before Christmas, while having time to travel on Christmas Day.

It was just absolutely too much for the end of my 2015.

Instead, I’m working on ways to grow this parenting talk show and connecting with moms with

  • In-person events like the vision board party I hosted in October 2015
  • Collaborating with other fellow bloggers
  • Creating a blogging series on a specific topic
  • Launching an e-course for work at home moms
  • Gaining more video clients to work on projects with my Emmy award-winning husband

I’d love to keep you informed about Atlanta events and the c-course you can take at your own pace, by sending you my bi-monthly (twice a month) newsletter.

I decluttered my old house prior to moving and am determined to keep the new house clutter free. We just had our boys donate some of their under used toys in preparation for the aftermath of Christmas.
