  1. My deadline is end of January, the. It’s time to focus on other things.

  2. I generally give it about two weeks, and then I am over it. However if someone says it to be I will say it back.

  3. I made general goals for all of 2019, so I have a solid 11 more months. None of them are workout or church related btw.

  4. Feb 1 was my last one. And people who keep up Christmas Trees lights on the house after First week in January need to be assessed a civil fine for annoyance. Let the holidays go and the new year enter !!

  5. I generally say it for the first two weeks or so but I am officially done with saying Happy New year. I figure going into the third week of Jan it’s time to put it to rest.

  6. It threw me off when someone said happy new year to me last week lol. It’s february! The year isn’t new anymore!!

  7. I usually stop after the first week of January. But if I haven’t seen you at all since last year or since the beginning of the year, then I will say it. I kinda say it in a joking way because that means it’s been way too long since we’ve seen each other and we need to do better and not let time lapse like that again.

  8. I don’t have a deadline for saying it, but I typically don’t initiate it. If the other person says, I will cordially repeat it.

  9. If its the first time I am seeing or speaking to someone for the year, I might say it but I honestly don’t really think about it one way or another. If someone says it, I would say it back .

  10. Usually through January, however, if I run into someone and I havent seen them since the end of last year then I will say it

  11. No more than two week to the new year. By this time I’ve handed out all my well wishes and now it’s time to forge into the new

  12. Honestly, this is a seriously good question. Last week I was typing “Happy New Year” because it was the first time we’d emailed in 2019, and I decided it was too late.

  13. I would say the first 2 weeks of January and all month if you haven’t seen someone in awhile
