Mommy Talk Show Candid Conversation with a TV Mom
I’m about one week behind on my 2013 goals and resolutions. In fact, I’m going to kick those terms to the side and embrace something else. A motto. A saying that I can fall back on when things are going well and when they’re blowing up in my face.
I made a collage of photos to show you exactly what I mean and explain why my 2013 Motto is: OWN IT.
These are things that I know, but don’t always embrace, recognize or take action on.

Great motto and can be applied to all areas of your life. My motto is, “get organized”… okay, not as flashy… but from my time to my home I need to get everything organized. 🙂

My motto for 2013 is I don’t have to be who others expect me to be! I love your motto and I think we should all embrace the women we are this year!

I don’t do resolutions generally, so I picked a “theme song” for the year.. “It’s Time” by Imagine Dragons. 🙂
I love this idea – and I love your motto! I’m doing this thing (a bible study course) where you pick one word – I have several and now I have to narrow it down. But I love the collage that goes along with it …

Joyce, this is great! I have a vision board – clippings from magazines that keep me focused on my goals and what I want to see in my life – but I like that yours is more personal – I will be adding pics of my son and myself to mine now – in addition to all the joyful, smiling mommies that I have clipped from magazines 🙂

Ohhh I LOVE “Own It!” That’s awesome! My “theme” at Party Plan Divas is “But What If You Did?” We have talked a lot about goals and I think setting the “smart” goals is so BORING that I challenged everyone to go BOLD instead and just set crazy unrealistic goals that make you laugh and get you excited about working your business again. You might not make it to your BOLD goal (most people do not make it to the “smart” ones either) BUT WHAT IF YOU DID!?! What if you DID make it to the BOLD goals?!!
Its going to be a FUN year 🙂
