I love the opportunities to enjoy the arts in Atlanta. We’ve showed you our visits to the Center for Puppetry Arts and concerts. Each February we look forward to Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater’s return to our city. It’s a significant way to honor and celebrate their accomplishments for Black History Month. To me, Downtown Atlanta at night is a fun date night or family night. Keep reading for a two ticket giveaway for Wednesday, February 14, 2018, plus opportunities for your children to enjoy a dance laboratory with the Alvin Ailey Dancers.

  1. We love supporting the arts and have made Alvin Ailey a Valentines tradition for the past several years. What’s better than dressing up and going to the theatre to witness amazing talent with your beau.

  2. It’s not only romantic because dancing has such intimate movements it is also celebrating Black history which dance has been a huge part of. This would be an amazing date night for those two things alone but Fox Theater is also such a nice venue. You can dress up and enjoy a great night.

  3. I still have not been able to see this troupe in person but have watched several videos!

  4. This looks like it would be fun to watch, I really enjoy dance and other cultures. What a better way to learn History than through dance! <3

  5. I love Alvin Ailey! I got to see them perform when Judith Jameson was Artistic Director.

  6. I never been to the Alvin Ailey Dance and this would be so romantic with my husband. The highly technical dance form that requires a great deal of precision, skill and rhythm. I would love to see the vibrant costumes the dancers wear.

  7. My first love is dance and winning this giveaway would give me the chance to see the company I dream to be a part of!
