For our sixth wedding anniversary we re-lived our fifth anniversary. Weird, right? But not really. The Skyview Lounge at the top of the Glenn Hotel is one of the best places to enjoy the Atlanta skyline and live music. Last year, we stayed overnight for an Atlanta staycation. This year, we stopped by for the view and music, then dinner nearby at McCormick & Schmicks. We took the 2016 Mazda CX-5 for a spin downtown for our anniversary since I received it to review it for the week. We parked it in the top floor of the parking lot for Phillips Arena and CNN. It was easy to keep an eye on the Mazda from the Skyview Lounge.
To make this review more interactive, I asked Mommy Talk Show Facebook fans what they wanted to know.
I’m about to shoot a video showing you inside the 2016 Mazda CX-5. What do you want to know? I’ll answer your question in the video! #DriveMazda

In this 2016 Mazda CX-5 video review, I answered two specific questions from Richelle about the storage space and from Quaneisha about the technology in the car. My co-host, A.J., of course, weighed in with his opinion on the car’s kid-friendly featured. Enjoy!

2016 MAZDA CX-5 SAFETY FEATURES & STORAGE SPACE
I mentioned in the video review that I’d explain more about the Power train technology. The 2016 Mazda CX-5 Grand Touring model I reviewed is equipped with the 2.5-liter SKYACTIV-G I-4 engine delivering 184 horsepower and 185 lbs.-ft. torque. Get 26 MPG for city driving and 33 MPG for highway. The engine in this crossover SUV really lives up to the “Zoom, Zoom” name you hear in Mazda commercials.
Comment below: What do you think of the storage space in the 2016 Mazda CX-5? Would the lane change technology be helpful to you or a young driver in your family?
You can also see the Mazda CX-5 has plenty of space for your children to lounge after a long day of camp or while you’re hanging out at a sporting event. A.J. and his friends piled in to explore the hatchback area after a play date.
The 2016 Mazda CX-5 Grand Touring has Blue Reflex Mica exterior color and Black interior. With the optional package for the
- lane departure warning
- rear bumper guard
- retractable cargo cover (so people can’t see what’s left in your hatchback)
- navigation system
- LED lighting for daytime running lights and high beam control
- Sirius satellite radio and more
the total MSRP: $32, 590

That’s actually a pretty good-looking option for a small SUV. And you have a natural on-camera talent in A.J. Wonder where he got that from???
This is on car I’ve yet to experience! A mazda! I like it and you looked like you all had a ball in it! I love a car with great space.
We are thinking of buying a new car soon. This one would be perfect for our family! Thanks for sharing.
This car is actually more spacious than I thought looking at the outside. Your co-host is just the cutest!! I didn’t know we could listen to Disney on Satellite radio! I will have to look for that station. Thanks AJ!
I love that this isn’t a large SUV, but it would definitely fit my family of 5. Mazdas are really upping their game!
Wow, you know, I didn’t expect there to be so much room in the Mazda CX-5, but it really does have a lot of space. Nice! And I love how sporty it looks too.
