Imagine trying to prepare for your newborn’s life during a global pandemic. That’s the reality for so many families right now. Celebrities and their spouses are getting a lot of attention for experiencing pregnancy during a pandemic and sharing their stories online. Here’s how these five celebrity couples are coping, helping others and looking forward to the birth of their brand new babies. You’ll also find important information from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) about steps expectant mothers should take to protect themselves from this virus. Celebrities Couples Who Are
Pregnant During the Pandemic
Ciara & Russell Wilson
These two are among my favorite celebrity couples. The singer/dancer/TV host and NFL quarterback have a blended family since Ciara has a son, Future, from a previous relationship. They also have a three-year-old daughter, Sienna.
Ciara and Wilson shared their gender reveal on social media: they’re expecting a boy for baby number three. She also helped other expectant moms handle the stress of pregnancy and a pandemic when she appeared on Good Morning America in April.
Grammy-award winner @ciara talks being pregnant during this time with our @RobinRoberts and @DrJAshton. “It’s going to be a bit different but virtual is the way.” https://t.co/IuDp38zvYh pic.twitter.com/8OrpvwxxZ9

As if they aren’t enough reasons to love their union, Ciara and Wilson offered up a double date with them to raise money for the “All In Challenge.” According to TMZ, the winning anonymous bid was $240,000.

Ashlee Simpson & Evan Ross
I love the hippy vibe this celebrity couple gives me every time I see them. Ashlee Simpson is Jessica’s sister; Evan is Diana Ross’ son. Diana Ross performed their marriage ceremony back in 2014 and even performed. She has a son, Jagger, from her first marriage. They share a daughter, Jagger.
The couple shared the news of baby number three on Instagram and pointed out how the March of Dimes is supporting expectant mothers during the pandemic.
Katy Perry & Orlando Bloom
While navigating hosting American Idol and her music career, Katy Perry announced she’s expecting her first child with fiance, Orlando Bloom. This is Bloom’s second child. He has a son, Flynn, with ex-wife Miranda Kerr.
The internet had a meltdown when Perry announced her pregnancy this spring. She’s been co-hosting American Idol from her home along with the rest of the panel.
Somebunny ? is going to be live on FACEBOOK with you right before Idol starts tonight at 7:45p ET to have a little Q&A about any of your #AmericanIdol questions ? pic.twitter.com/wpKauXwwlH

Kevin & Eniko Hart
I didn’t know Kevin & Eniko Hart were expecting their second child together until I noticed this video on Instagram, where the couple danced with his oldest child, Heaven Hart.
Eniko Hart shares almost daily Instagram fitness posts like she did before her first pregnancy with their son, Eniko. This will be his fourth child. He has two older children from his first marriage.
Gigi Hadid and Zayne Malik
The international supermodel and “boy band” member are expecting their first child together. Celebrity gossip sites started sharing the news before the couple made a public announcement. Hadid told Jimmy Fallon that she planned to keep the announcement private, but the media coverage didn’t make that possible.
Hadid shared her baby news along with her 25th birthday celebration during the pandemic lockdown.
CDC Recommendations for Pregnancy
The CDC has recommendations for pregnant women during this Covid-19 outbreak. Just like for the rest of us, social distancing is recommended for expectant mothers. The CDC also acknowledges the risk of contracting the virus for newborn babies since a few have tested positive.
Comment below: Do you know anyone who’s pregnant during the pandemic? How are they coping? How are you supporting them?
I knew about Katie but not the others. It’s a tough time to be expecting on top of everything else that’s going on.

Some of these I didn’t know about. I pray everyone has a safely during with everything that’s going on.
