Featured Moms

I had an “Aha” moment when I met each of the five successful Atlanta mompreneurs featured in Use What You Know: A Business Idea Guide for Moms. They each created businesses that were useful, on the cutting edge and they all worked from home. To share what they knew and to support the moms who watch this show, last summer  I decided to write an e-book featuring them and sharing my experience as a work at home mom. Completing the book

You just watched a video of the book signing event earlier this month hosted at Bean Work Play Cafe in Decatur, a co-work space for adults with on-site childcare. Bean is where I wrote portions of the book and met with an accountability group of other entrepreneurs who were writing books.

I’m also a member of Ladies Who Launch Atlanta, a networking and support group of women entrepreneurs. Market Director Angela Stalcup teaches workshops and coaches women on how to create, launch and build their businesses. Earlier this year she was featured here for an excellent business tip, “Knowing Your Niche vs. Marketing to Everyone.”
