Week 4 Check-In
My workout routine got pumped up this week thanks to an in home personal training session with Cafe Physique. I hadn’t worked with a personal trainer in about five years and didn’t know how I’d fit it into my schedule. I work from home most days and A.J. needs my attention. Among the excuses I made for NOT being able to work with a personal trainer in my home.
- I live in an apartment so there’s little space to workout.
- A.J.’s toys are everywhere.
- I don’t feel like paying a babysitter to come over so I can workout.
- I know there are gyms that offer child care, but I’d have to go inspect and interrogate the staff before I leave him there.

Great job on continuing to loose weight! I can totally relate on having to overcome childcare issues in order to work out but I manage to get it in twice a day most days. In the mornings (depending on what day of the week it is, that could be anywhere between 6 and 8am), I kick myself out of bed early in the morning when the hubby & kid are both still sleeping . When it’s time for my PM workout, I usually have my hubby or another trusted family member watch my 11month old while I go out to my Zumba class. When I don’t have anyone around or I don’t have a class to go to, I sit him in his infant seat next to me while I pop in a workout DVD. It’s a workout in and of itself to juggle around but it’s worth it in the end :>)
