As Valentine’s Day crept up on the calendar I realized we had no solid plans. My husband works nights mostly so a dinner at a restaurant would be out of the question. It seemed like the perfect time to try out delicious Cooker Delivery a try thanks to a complimentary review. Plus I’ve got a coupon code for you to enjoy two orders.
My plan was to order dinner items ahead of time and keep them in the fridge until Saturday night. Our son was supposed to go to a sleepover, which would allow us to have relaxing child-free evening and dinner together.
Those plans quickly changed when A.J.’s asthma symptoms returned Friday and all day Saturday. Instead of the planned sleepover, the boy stayed home and we used breathing treatments with his nebulizer to keep him comfortable. The boy lounged around and napped. We waited for his appetite to return and decided he could go on an extended play date Sunday. Our date night turned into a date brunch, but I’ll walk you though my experience ordering delicious, healthy menu items from Cooker Delivery, reheating them and enjoying them at home.

How to Order Cooker Delivery
I looked over the weekly menu on the Cooker Delivery website to see what was available this week. I also wanted to find dishes we’d both enjoy. I selected two orders of the Baked Salmon with Collard Green Pesto ($7.50 per person), Hearty Winter Veggies ($3.50 per person) and Smashed Brussel Sprouts ($3.50 per person) topped with mozzarella/parmesan cheese. Our total was $28.50 + $5 delivery = $33.50. For a healthy meal that I didn’t have to shop for and cook for, the price is reasonable. Any Valentine’s Day meal you find at a restaurant would surpass that price. If you add in cocktails and wine, you’ll spend at least $100.00. I bought a $3 bottle of wine from Aldi.
The menu changes each week. When you visit the Cooker Delivery site, choose your delivery week and look over the options for vegan, vegetarian and meals with meat.
Cooker Delivery Arrived
I ordered by 2 p.m. Tuesday. Our dinner selection arrived by 3:15 p.m. Wednesday. The Cooker Delivery team left it on our front steps in a safe bag for hot and cold items. I also got a text message from the delivery team that it had arrived. Each dish came in a plastic container. The reheating instructions are on the lid for using the microwave or conventional oven.
I immediately refrigerated our food. Since our plans to enjoy it got pushed back to Sunday, we unboxed the food and shared how we reheated them for brunch.
I enjoyed the meal because it was seasoned perfectly. We didn’t add any sauces or seasonings. My husband plated the meals because he loves a perfect presentation.
My only regret is that we didn’t have time to enjoy the meal sooner. Although it refrigerated well, I’m left wondering how much better it would have tasted if I could have eaten it Wednesday night or Thursday night (the day after it arrived).

Thank you for this post. I am always looking for date night ideas and easy cooking options, especially ones where I don’t have to cook! 😉
I need to see if this is in my area. The price was great for everything you received. The food looked good too. You’ve definitely put me on to something new.
I’ll have to see if they are in my area. I cracked up when you said you got your Aldi wine! Girl I buy wine at ALDI allllll the time. Love it.
Great prices. You’re right. This meal would have cost a great deal more at a restaurant.
I love food services. Sometimes I am literally too busy to cook thanks for sharing Cooker Delivery!
This is such a good cute date night idea. Unfortunately my husband will never do it. He’s really not a fan of cooking at all. So this would be a solo date for me. But still looks like something I’d try.
I honestly don’t think my husband and I have enough date nights alone without our twin girls. After his 9-5 he has his own business on the side and works well into the night after I fall asleep. Every year, I tell my self that I will make changes for us to spend time together, but I don’t. This service seems like it is something that we both can fit into our busy schedules so we can enjoy each other more.
I am a huge fan of food services and food subscription boxes! I love to add my own personal touches to the meals once they arrive at my doorstep. I have never utilized Cooker Delivery ithe food looks really good!
I don’t live in Atlanta but it would be nice to know if they have something similar to that in my area. I love to support the local farms in my area.
Lol, first of all, I love Aldi wine. I think it’s great. I’ve never used a meal service (with the exception of meal prep) but I have heard great things. I need to look into them because I am not a fan of cooking and prefer the most convenient options possible!
Of all the food delivery services I’ve seen this one looks like one I would actually eat. The food actually looks seasoned and tasty. At home dates are the best. I’ll be back on the scene soon to enjoy them again.
