Bino and Fino DVD: Little Learner Holiday Gift Idea

Bino and Fino Facebook Header

I heard giggles coming from A.J.’s room as he pressed play on the Bino and Fino DVD. I hate to use DVDs or TV as a babysitter but sometimes you just have to get things done around the house without children underfoot. This week, I needed to get the mess in my kitchen under control.

Bino and Fino DVD

So I set up A.J.’s DVD player in his bed and turned on Bino and Fino to see what he thought.

He watched three stories of the brother (Bino) and sister (Fino) as they encountered being too sick to go to school, Mama Mama’s Soup and more! Along with their grandparents, and parents –  Bino and Fino make a delightful team. At the end of each story is an interactive lesson where you little one is asked to point to continents as well as fruits/vegetables mentioned in the episode.

Created by Adamu Waziri, the Bino and Fino DVD has been featured on CNN and The Huffington Post. Waziri’s goal was to fill the voice in educational programming for featuring sub-Saharan African along with the language and culture.
