Wordless Wednesday: A.J. with family and friends in Jackson, Mississippi

This summer we drove to Jackson, Mississippi and it was A.J.’s first trip to there. My husband’s family still lives in Jackson and A.J. met his twin cousins for the first time. Jordan and Joshua are the youngest members of our family. They all played together at my grandmother-in-laws’ home.

A.J. also met my friend, former Clarion-Ledger Executive Editor Ronnie Agnew. My close friend Monica Rent last saw A.J. when he was a newborn. Don’t they look like “trouble” together?

Last, but definitely not least, A.J. met the man I sat next to for almost 7 years as my co-anchor at 16 WAPT-TV. Here we are with Emmy award-winning TV journalist Scott Simmons. (Sorry the photo is fuzzy. It’s taken with an iPhone)
