Also, do you think I should start waking at 4 a.m. to go to the gym before A.J. wakes up? I already struggle to wake up at 5:15 a.m.
What keeps me sane? 1) Friday movie night with my boys is inviolate. Folks can join us, but I don’t go out until after they’re in bed. 2) I make time for the Mr. as best I can. Even if “date night” is just a couple of laps at the park or a quick kiss at a convenient gas station (we live at opposite ends of the earth aka Atlanta) – we take it. 3) If I need a break and I need to play hooky to go see a movie by myself in the middle of the day – I do it, and I don’t feel guilty about it. 4) I make a MEAN fruity drink. 🙂
