One of a Kind Rated G Movie
For the last two years I’ve only gone to the movies by myself or with my husband on date night. I haven’t taken A.J. to see a theater because I didn’t want to disrupt other movie goers, I’m strict about the 8:15 p.m. bed time and honestly – there’s nothing in the theater I think is appropriate for a two year old to watch. Until now.
We recently attended a pre-screening of a revolutionary Rated G movie. The Oogies Loves In The Big Balloon Adventure is interactive, fun and age appropriate for the two to seven year old crowd. It’s ideal for kids who can’t follow complicated story lines and can’t sit still for 120 minutes anyway.
Guidelines keep me from telling you too much about the plot and characters for The Oogiesloves In The Big Balloon Adventure. But I’m delighted to share that A.J. had a blast watching his very first movie in a theater. He and all the other kids in the theater were allowed to get up, dance and interact with the characters on screen the way toddlers love to do. We’ll be back to see it again when The Oogieloves hits screens in the U.S. on August 29th.

Here’s the one-on-one interview with creator Kenn Viselman that I captured with my iPhone. Kudos for him for letting me get up close and personal.
