Mommy Talk Show Candid Conversation with a TV Mom
A.J. and our new neighbor play together quite a bit and after running around, I thought they’d like to cool off with an impromptu ice cream party. I made a “Walgreens Run” to the cooler aisle to grab what the kids like and something for me. I bought the Breyers Neopolitan ice for them to choose from chocolate, vanilla or strawberry.
At check out I grabbed gummy bears for them to add as a topping. Now that he’s grown out of his dairy allergy, this is monumental for him to enjoy ice cream. Having a little friend nearby makes him absolutely giddy. I tried the Fruttare Strawberry & Milk Bar for the first time. I tasted just enough pieces of strawberry for me to make me forget I was indulging in ice cream.
This is so different from the way I enjoyed summer ice cream. Is it me or is the ice cream man harder and harder to find? Walgreens has just what you need with a variety of Unilever brands including Breyers, Klondike, Magnum and Popsicle brands.
Don’t feel like the ice cream is just for the kids. Treat yourself to a popsicle or fruit bar, like I did.

Ice cream parties are the best! During my Corporate America days, when we would have Food Fridays, I would always bring ice cream and fixings and everyone loved it. Young or old(er), ice cream is still a treat.
