Behind the Scenes Look at the Inside CNN Studios Tour #cnnbloggerstour

Whether you live in Atlanta or plan to visit soon, you should not miss the opportunity to visit CNN World Headquarters and take the Inside CNN Studios Tour. As a journalist, I should have gone as soon as I moved here in 2009, but I never found the time until now.

I took the CNN Studios tour with eight other bloggers who belong to a Georgia Social Media Moms in Atlanta. It was a wonderful opportunity for our to experience the tour, take photos an enjoy lunch together. You may want to take the tour with a group as well. Plan ahead to bring together your friends, classmates or mom group.

Children are allowed on the tour and would really get a kick out of the mock studio, weather green screen and the chance to sit at an anchor desk. I didn’t bring A.J. because he’s under two and I know he wouldn’t be able to stay still that long. The Inside CNN Studios Tour includes taking several flights of stairs to navigate the building. You’ll notice on the site that for anyone needing help with accessibility it states, “Elevator assisted tours are available at 10:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m., and 3:30 p.m. These tours tend to sell out quickly so reservations are highly recommended.”

Disclosure: I received complimentary admission to the Inside CNN Tour.
