Here is why A.J. has unopened Christmas gifts we are saving for his birthday in March…
He has played in this box everyday since it arrived with clothes and toys from a friend whose son outgrew them.
I’m not one of those parents who overspends on holidays and we didn’t go overboard for his first Christmas either. The money we are saving now will come in handy when he’s old enough to tell us what he wants. Until then, we’re happy he enjoys playing in boxes.
Kids and boxes! Lily’s 4 and still loves it when a good box comes in the mail. Yesterday she decorated one with stickers and paper cutouts for her dolls to sleep in ๐
That always makes me laugh….half the time the boxes are more interesting than the presents that came in them..when my kids were little they also liked to play with empty 2 liter bottles that had change in them….there are all kinds of free/super cheap toys that they love just as much, if not more, than the expensive ones….keep those boxes for as long as possible. Now at almost 14 my oldest only wants electronics….YIKES!
Your boy is so cute! He looks like he is very easy to please ๐
Boxes are the best!!!
HAHAH TOo cute I love it!
Love this and love his creativity. Hooray for saving $!
Oh my goodness…adorable! Boxes are all the rage.
And, we don’t overspend for Christmas or birthdays, either. Typically, it’s $50 or less per kid for Christmas. This year, I used deal vouchers:)
