I remember going door-to-door as a dressed-up child for Halloween, but it seems like those days are long gone. In Atlanta, I’ve noticed there are neighborhoods that are known for active celebrations with candy being handed out. There are also older neighborhoods with fewer kids, so adults rarely hand out candy. Not to be a Debbie Downer, but some parents don’t feel safe going door-to-door with their kids anymore. Add to that combination – Atlanta’s Halloween Night 2019 looks like it’ll be rainy and stormy. If you’re looking for Atlanta Indoor Halloween Celebrations we’ve got you covered with a lengthy list I’ll update all day, so check back for updates OR message me on the Mommy Talk Show Facebook page.

“As you explore WildWoods and Fernbank Forest, be prepared to encounter ghostly visitors in the shadows, up in the trees, deep in the vistas, and waiting in plain sight. Although mostly undisturbed throughout history, these woods feature clues and remnants from those who’ve come before us. Perhaps their spirits never left.
Woodland Spirits features a variety of ghostly figures imagined by Fernbank and transformed by Laura Lewis, an Atlanta artist who specializes in sculpture, painting and outdoor installations.”
