Mommy Talk Show Candid Conversation with a TV Mom
When I started Mommy Talk Show more than two years ago, I didn’t have a clear idea of how I would get everything done. I was just excited to have a place where I could vent, share my experiences as a new Wife/Mom and maybe attend a few events. I had never heard the words: blogging planner.
Fast forward two years and my blog/talk show has evolved and grown. I can proudly say my blog has turned into a business.
- I have amazing opportunities with local business and national brands.
- I have video and social media consulting opportunities.
- I contribute articles to other blogs and must meet deadlines.
- I’m a part of several blogging groups where we support each other and share our experiences.
I’ve been doing a pretty good job keeping track of things. But to be honest – I’ve missed a deadline by a day (or two). I’ve forgotten to invoice a client for the work I did for them. I’ve had days when I had no idea what I was going to blog about.

I’ll share my journey with you over the next few months and I strive to organize my tasks even more.
I’m using the Travel Size Blogging Planner (value: $37.99) instead of the Executive Size (value: $57.99) because I’m always on the go. My “office” is my desk, my bed, the kitchen, the car and my co-working space. I though the Travel Size would be easier for me to manager. Note: the Executive Size planner has the same pages in a 8.5x 11 form.

Looks like a great blog planner. I’ve been blogging for two years and just now started using a binder to keep better track of all the blog posts, reviews, etc. I usually just use my Outlook calendar online but I’m going to try writing things down and see if I like that better.
Oh, I NEED one! I struggle to keep my blogging organized and this looks like a perfect tool!

1I use an electronic blog manager that I created. Please share with us how things are going with your planner a month or two down the road to keep everyone inspired to keep organized!
This is sooooo awesome Joyce! I’ve really been needing something like this and had no idea where to begin looking. Like you, I’m one that has my appts in my google calendar, but I HAVE to physically write stuff down and be able to highlight, etc in order to stay organized. I am really looking forward to getting one…now I just need to decide which size to get! hmmmm
Are you able to share pictures of the inside of the calendar, so we can see how it’s laid out?

Wow I could really use this in my life!!!!
I love my planner and have been using it a lot. I feel so much more organized. And I have the travel size so I can take it with me on all of my trips!
We do all of our planning online. I’ve found that matching up my iCalendar and iPhone has been so helpful. I even set alarms to go off the day before things are due so I don’t forget. Technology is my friend.
I’m taking baby steps – I just recently began an excel spreadsheet to track my daily posts, pre-plan and jot down notes.
Looking through the website for the planner, I’m impressed with the different sections that it covers – sponsored posts, product reviews, conferences, etc
Can’t wait to see how you implement this planner over the next few months and if it successfully replaces your other two tools.
