Here’s a photo of A.J. when he was about five months old and fell asleep in the car seat holding his pacifier in his right hand and holding his left toe. It’s one of my favorite pictures of him because it shoes how babies can fall asleep almost anywhere, anytime.
Training babies and toddlers to sleep on a schedule is a lot more difficult than I expected. I shared my struggles in Part I of “Sleep training advice for babies and toddlers Part I.” Each of the talk show guest shared their advice on getting children to sleep through the night including talking over issues with your pediatrician, letting children find their own schedule and timing the naps of siblings so they nap at the same time.
