Are there things that go through your mind when you’re alone in the shower or taking a walk that deal with forgiving yourself? Whether you’re in your 40’s or just encountered a lot in your years, chances are you’ve made a few mistakes. I have a few friends who are going through divorces, who have career regrets or made financial mistakes that are holding them back. Today, I hope you can move forward and forgive yourself. Lord knows I’m a work in progress. If you are too, here’s a printable letter of forgiveness to yourself.
Print it.
Keep it.
Post it.
Burn it.
Just do it.
Forgive yourself.
Stay tuned for the live show “What Every Woman Needs to Know About Turning 40” next Monday, February 23rd at 11 a.m. where I’ll be joined by Anne Parris from Midlife Boulevard and Mikita Burton (Never Stay at Home Mom) from MikitaBurton.com. RSVP on Facebook for the #FiguringOut40 event to get a reminder.
See the other Figuring Out 40 topics I’ve shared including the Over 40 Friendship Prayer.
One of my favorite parts of sharing #FiguringOut40 with you was the trip I took by myself to Los Angeles, California where I overdosed on all things celebrity by taking the TMZ Tour with Van Lathan where I created a video about the best celebrity moms and going to a taping of Chelsea Lately. Thank goodness I did that because her cable show ended in 2014. Do you have any items on your bucket list that you’d like to scratch off before you turn 40 or after 40?

This is a perfect letter to write to myself. I know I am way to hard on myself daily.
