Oprah Winfrey and her best friend, Gayle King, have been accused of being lesbians since they appear to be such close friends. In an interview with Barbara Walters, Oprah talks about her adoration for Gayle and the fact that they're just friends, not lesbians. I got a chance to meet Oprah and Gayle in 2006 when they were in Mississippi for a dedication of the Boys & Girls Club in Oprah's hometown. Gayle was very friendly and supportive about the fact that I nabbed a one-on-one interview with Oprah when they stopped by Burger King.
