I Had Best and Worst of My Life at the Same Time #DriFitDiaries #AD

Throughout most of our lives we seek to feel comfortable. It’s what I want to feel when you sit down on my living room sofa on Thursday nights to watch my favorite TV shows. When I climb into bed at night I take about 5 minutes to move around, organize pillows and sheets until I feel just the right level of comfort to drift off into sleep. This conversation is sponsored by Dri-Fit™, an ingredient brand that strives to make wearers of its feminine hygiene and incontinence products feel dry and comfortable.

Dri Fit Family

I’m sharing my #DriFitDiaries story to help empower women to look at life as a journey with unexpected peaks and valleys.

Infant Immunization

Looking back now at 2010 to 2011, I don’t know how I got through that time without crying myself to sleep every night, as a new mom and as I was saying goodbye to my Dad. Who helped you while going through a tough time like motherhood or loss of a loved one?

  6. Thank you for sharing your story. It’s crazy how you can have the best and the worst of times at the same time.

  7. I never thought about using something like this I guess because I had preconceived notions. But I wish I had used something like this after I had Madison. Your baby was so cute.. I don’t miss those days at all

  8. This is so true. I was going through a break up and career change at the same time and it was definitely overwhelming, but when I look back at it, it wasn’t so bad. I’ve never heard of this brand, but I’ll be looking into it.

  9. What an emotional time for you and your family! It’s good to see that your father and son in fact met and will always have video and photos to share with you son when he gets older. God bless you all.

  10. Its hard to lose a loved one but congrats on the little ones, they bring so much joy and happiness even though the difficult times.

  11. Thank you for sharing your story. We share a similar one. I lost my dad when my daughter was 9 mos. He used to take care of her. I’m sorry for your loss, but at least you have your daughter to distract you.

  12. I can’t imagine what you were going through but thanks so much for sharing your story and also introducing me to Dri-Fit. I’m going to have to check it out.

  13. Happy New Year, Joyce! Thanks for sharing this product and your story. I’m sorry to hear that you lost your dad. Heartbreak paired with sheer joy seems hard to manage…sending prayers of comfort and healing. May blessings abound!

  14. Life is filled with emotional moments. Sometimes the emotions are happy and sometimes the emotions are sad. But in either regard the emotions fill us and we feel them in ways we will never forget.

  15. Thank you for being transparent and sharing your story. It’s hard to be so honest with yourself while in the moment of all your different emotions. Luckily, I have a group of women who act as a mirror for me and let me know when I might need help even if I didn’t say it.

  16. Thanks for starting this thread. Last year was a year of transition for me and I had to trust God. He has always provided- what would make that time any different? I am blessed to say I was offered a job at an amazing company two days after I graduated my doctoral program. God gives abundantly.

  17. A product that’s going to help keep you dry and comfortable would be a Godsend. I have a daughter who’s starting her menstruation journey and we’ve already tried a variety of products with varying degrees of happiness/success. The Dri-Fit brand is next on the list. Thanks for sharing!

    • Welcome her to the journey, LeAnn. Heck, I’m still learning stuff about my period because even that changed after pregnancy and having my uterine fibroids removed.

  18. Wow! It must have been a trying and emotional time. Never heard of Dri-Fit but will be sure and check it out. The baby looks so cute 🙂

  19. Joyce, thanks for sharing your story. You have always been successful in getting a message across to the viewers/readers. Your transparency will definitely help others who are going through similar circumstances. I have not heard of Dri-Fit, but I will share with others. Continue to do what you do so well. God’s has given you a special gift!

  20. I can’t imagine how hard it must’ve been for you. I’m glad you were able to through it. I’ve never used these products, but they are worth looking into.

  21. What an incredibly difficult time. I’m glad your dad and AJ were able to meet.

  22. When those peaks and valleys come at the same time, it’s like a burp and hiccup all at once. You don’t really know what to think of it until you sit back and breathe.

    • Very true, Lindsey. It was a blur at the time. But when I look back at it, I can hardly believe I survived without having an emotional breakdown.

  23. Thanks for being so transparent! Never heard of dri-fit but it seems like a product that a lot of women could use. And your son is adorbs!

  24. That is actually a really good piece of information to let people know. That you could be going through the best times and worst times of your life at the exact same time. I am sorry you had to go through with that with your dad but at the same time the birth of your son. Thanks for sharing a little piece of your life with us!

  25. Wow. I didn’t know about your journey … thanks for sharing your story and for educating us on this product.

  26. Thanks for being so transparent and share your story. I was just talking about being uncomfortable today.

  27. Thanks for sharing your story. It’s always encouraging to see how people overcome tough times!
