Super Simple Shrimp Stir Fry with Minute® Rice

I was invited to a private dinner event featuring a variety of ways to enjoy Minute® Rice for breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert. I’ll share the amazing meal ideas here and give you my own less complicated, yet equally delicious way I prepared Minute® Rice for my family for this sponsored post.

Minute Rice Table

I grew up eating white rice for dinner regularly.

My Father’s South Carolina ancestors are Geechee which describes the culture and language of enslaved Africans who arrived on the coastal islands of the Carolinas, Georgia and Florida. Rice was a large part of the diet for the enslaved Africans because they brought the West African traditions with them. Those traditions have passed down from generation to generation…until me. Somehow I’ve let my lack of rice-making skills keep me from serving it to my family because my Father make it perfectly fluffy and flavor filled in each pot.

Even my Father would have been blown away by what we enjoyed at the event hosted by @StacieinAtlanta and her husband.

My side of the dinner table got to select of favorite meat for the stir fry. We chose beef. Take a look at the toppings we chose as “Team Beef.”

So I’m at a party tonight where we are having some amazing food made with Minute Rice. Watch my video to see what my team is about to taste. #MinuteMeals AD

In the end, Team Beef added very vegetable and spice available to our dish. First the aromas of the garlic and vegetables hit us when the food came off the stove. Then we sank our forks into the tender beef, vegetables and over Minute® Rice.

I embrace the fact that I am a preparer, not a cooker. That means I need a maximum of four steps to make a meal.

Slice, dice, cook and serve and my ONLY culinary skills. So adding sliced vegetables to Minute® Rice Multi-Grain Medley was a breeze for me. Minute® Multi-Grain Medley is brand now with its  “blend of four gluten-free, 100% whole grains, including long grain brown rice, Thai red rice, wild rice and quinoa and it conveniently cooks in 10 minutes. Plus, Minute® Multi-Grain Medley comes in pre-portioned bags, making it even easier to prep for your family.”

I grew up on Minute Rice too! My mom would make it and then put butter and some sugar on it. That seems weird now with all the attention to sugar consumption. We take it straight up these days!
