My Husband’s 5 Favorite Features of the Smooth Fitness Elliptical #SmoothBlogger

For the last two months, my husband and I have been reviewing a compact elliptical machine that’s ideal for our apartment. I chose it because it’s his favorite way to work out in the morning before he leaves for work.
Here are his five favorite features of the Smooth Fitness Elliptical Machine:

Features of the Smooth Fitness Elliptical Machine

1. Convenient. With a busy toddler at home it’s tough for both of us to fit in a workout. My husband is able to fit in his workouts without leaving the house. Our son also doesn’t mind watching Daddy workout. Of course, if I try to fit in time on the elliptical he wants to jump on with me.
2. Challenging. My husband says the Smooth Fitness elliptical is more challenging than a standard elliptical machine. Our fitness center’s elliptical machine doesn’t have “arms” so this gives him a tougher worker.
3. Easy use. To quote my husband (who suffers from a condition that prevents him from reading directions) “The digital display was easy to decipher without reading directions.”  He likes the “easy to read Blue Back Lit LCD display.”
4. Easy to move around. Since our compact elliptical is in the living room of our apartment, we occasionally need to move it out of the way if our son is being extra rambunctious or wants to play a game inside that requires a lot of space.
5. Upper and lower body workout. Thanks to the arms on the Smooth Fitness compact elliptical machine, my husband says he can get a full body workout with the machine in 30 minutes at least three times a week.

Considering the cost of home workout equipment it’s great to make an investment in something the whole family can use.

What would your husband or partner like about the Smooth Fitness Compact Elliptical?

  1. LOVE this machine. You have inspired me to get back on mine today. Just got home from a cruise and haven’t been motivated to workout since. 🙂

We LOVE our elliptical and love how it fits nicely in a corner of our room.

  2. This looks like a great fitness machine.

  3. I need one of those in front of my TV! Thanks for sharing with us Joyce. Great review!

  4. It is so nice to be able to have cardio equipment right in your own living area. Great review. I’ll be sure to pass this one on to those who are contemplating elipticals!

  5. this is a machine I would love to have!

  6. Looks very easy to use and compact.

  7. This sounds really nice. Is it noisy???

  8. I think I would like the upper and lower body workout feature too! Two birds, one stone!

  9. I love at home workout equipment {even though we own a gym} 🙂 it’s easier for me to go downstairs and get a good sweat than to pack up all 4 kids and head over to the gym— awesome machine!

  10. I love ellipticals! It’s a much smoother exercise experience compared to a tread mill. I’m with your hubby–I hate reading instructions! Keep it simple, or I may talk myself out of a work out…lol

  11. I can’t wait til I move so I can get a machine to have in my house. I feel like I waste money having a gym membership. Glad he likes it, that means I can talk danny into it ;0)

  12. The convenience would definitely work for my guy. He sometimes gets home so late that the thought of going out again to the gym is out of the question! We don’t have the space for this now, but we’ll certainly keep it in mind when we move in a few months!

  13. This sounds like a really great machine. I have a full house, but with six people living here, space is a premium. It would be nice to have something like this that has so many great features and can fit into our home as well as our lives.
