See those ladies in the picture? We’re all moms and we had a much needed night out thanks to Duran Duran’s performance at Chastain Amphitheater Friday, October 14th.
We rocked out to the Duran Duran hits that make you flash back to the feathered hair and tight jeans of the 80’s. I loved hearing their biggest hits Hungry Like the Wolf and Notorious. But I was equally impressed with Duran Duran’s new album and single, All You Need Is Now. Listen to it on the Duran Duran Facebook fan page when you click the “BandPage” app.
Although Duran Duran is most know as an 80’s band, their concert is very up-to-date and interactive. If you see them live in concert, have your smart phone handy. On the mommy front, two moms who sat in front of us said this was their second time at a Duran Duran concert this year. The moms live here in Atlanta, but even did a road trip to a Duran Duran concert in North Carolina when they were teenagers. They bonded over music and mommyhood thanks to the British rock band.

I had such a great time at the Duran Duran concert! I couldn’t get over those moves! And the tiny black dresses the girls were wearing.oh my!! I felt kid of old but it was awesome! Sorry we didn’t get to chat even though we were a few seats away from each other.
Sorry we didn’t get to chat either. But how much talking could we do over the music anyway? 😀
