Farewell Greasy Kitchen Appliances

This New Year cleaning resolution tips post is brought to you by Mr. Clean as part of a Type-A Parent Community Sponsored Post.

As much as I love my husband’s cooking, I don’t love the mess he often leaves behind. He cooks his own dinner every night and since he often fries things, the grease goes everywhere. I haven’t been as adamant as I should about cleaning up behind him because our stove and microwave are paying the price. Thanks to Mr. Clean I’m saying “Farewell Greasy Kitchen Appliances” and showing you how well the #LiquidMuscle liquid gel worked!

Greasy Kitchen Appliances

That’s what my electric kitchen looks like every morning when I wake up once I move all the pots and pans. My Mother will be appalled! Oh well.

The stove and microwave are so greasy I decided not to dilute the Mr. Clean and squirt it directly onto my sponge. You can dilute it if you’d like and squeeze the liquid gel into your bucket of water.

I ran some hot water over the sponge and Mr. Clean, then started scrubbing on the top of the microwave. I put in some elbow grease and noticed how quickly the grease broke down so I could wipe it off.

Next up was the stove, especially around the knobs where grease and splattered food like to stick. I repeated the steps of squirting Mr. Clean liquid gel on my sponge with a little hot water and scrubbing away.
