Here’s a Healthy Baby Shower Gift Idea

When I was pregnant with A.J. and breastfeeding him, I was much better about staying hydrated than I am now. Back then, I had a little person inside my body who was relying on me to eat a healthy balanced diet and stay hydrated. Or when I was breastfeeding him for almost two years, I was focused on keeping up my supply and avoiding his food allergies. Little did I know that the 12 pack of Mother Nurture Enhanced Water and Chocolate Truffles would be the perfect healthy baby shower gift idea for my friend, Tara.

Many pregnant woman suffer from nausea and dehydration in the first trimester, or even throughout their pregnancy. I have friends who’ve also been to the emergency room repeatedly because of  dehydration When I gave Tara a basket with Mother Nurture water and chocolate truffles, she told the baby shower attendees that staying hydrated has been a problem for her early on.

  1. I love this! They have so much more goodies for expectant mothers now than they did 12 years ago when I was pregnant with my daughter. 🙂

  2. I like to give expecting mothers a gift basket of goodies. This would be a great idea to add into the mix. I breastfed both of my kids and I totally understand the importance of staying hydrated.

  3. Very thoughtful gift. I have a couple moms-to-be friends that have no idea how exhausting being a new mom is. Especially when your nursing. Staying hydrated is so important.

  4. These are such a great idea and one that I am sure would be appreciated. I love giving baskets, too. It’s so much better to give several different useful things than one and these Mother Nature products are awesome!

  5. It’s so important for women who are expecting to take good care of them selves and the babies growing inside of them. What an awesome gift idea.

  6. My sister is expecting, these mother nurture products would be great for her. FYI:I love the name Braxton the lovely lady chose.

  7. Oh yes, staying hydrated was hard for me because of nausea. There were a few times that I had to get IV fluids. I could’ve used something like this!

  8. Girl, we were eating pigs in the blanket and other unhealthy food at my 1st baby shower 25 years ago. I wish we had this info back then.

  9. Awesome gifts! I like to get things for the mothers-to- be as well. I’ve never heard of these products but they sound like the real deal.

  10. I love to give gifts I know people can use. These seem like great gifts to give when putting together a gift baskets. I’ll definitely be checking these out.

  11. I’m literally hosting a baby shower next week and this is such a unique gift aside from the regular items that people seem to get. I love that it’s for the baby but still for the mom.

  12. What a great idea, Joyce! We’re always so concerned about getting things for the baby once she or he arrives. I’d probably add a massage to her gift basket or a spa day so that mommy-to-be can be pampered before the little one arrives.

  13. These are some very thoughtful and lovely gifts. My son is one-years-old and I know I couldn’t hardly keep anything down with him or my daughter those first few months. These would have come in pretty handy to say the least.

  14. This is one that I am sure I would value with such great ideas. I also love the basket. It’s a lot more than paying a lot of different things and this is a mother nature product is scary!
