Week 5 Check-in

This week I challenged myself to go back to my roots: dance!
My parents enrolled me and my sister in dance lessons when I was five and I kept with it until I was 12. I also danced in high school and took dance aerobics for five years before I moved to Atlanta.

So this week I returned to the dance floor and took a Zumba class in Atlanta with instructor Terri Holley who’s a mom, grandma, entrepreneur and .

Here’s how it went plus my weight check-in.

  1. I’ve been taking Zumba classes for the last 2 months and I really enjoy them. More specifically, I take it at a female owned dance studio where they specialize in female fitness classes and the ladies there are all great and supportive. I think I enjoy the environment as much as the classes :>)

  2. I have always wanted to take a Zumba class. It sounds like a lot of fun and looks fun on the videos I have seen online.
