In 2011, it’s a sad state of affairs that moms find themselves “asking” their husbands or partners for help with the kids. Nevertheless, it’s a reality.

Don’t get me wrong. There are tons of dads who do their share, especially the growing number of stay at home and work at home dads. But for moms like me, we would still like dads to step up to the plate when it comes to running errands, shuttling the kids to appointments and fixing dinner.

Since our Mommy Talk Show guests also run their own businesses, that can complicate things too. Listen to how we handle asking our husbands for more help. The conversation was so juicy it will be a two parter. I start by sharing what makes things complicated for me and my husband:
